SIEGENIA, together with the Siegen Lions Club, supports the workshops offered by the Siegen Fab Labs of the University of Siegen by renting vans and manpower. Over 300 computers - donations from the region - are now available so that young people can learn how computers work, assemble them and then take them home for free.
SIEGENIA supports the Hochwald outpatient hospice, which accompanies and relieves seriously ill and dying people and their relatives with all their questions, worries and fears.
Around 60,000 people suffer cardiac arrest in Germany every year. Rapid CPR and defibrillation can prevent most people from getting worse. For this reason, SIEGENIA sponsored a defibrillator for the DRK Ortsverein Obersdorf e.V. on the occasion of the club's 60th anniversary.
