The system family of the AEROMAT VT facade ventilator and the various models of the AEROTUBE and AEROPLUS WRG wall-mounted ventilators have been tested and certified as low in pollutants. They meet the stringent requirements for construction products with regard to the QNG-ready quality seal and other building certifications. The QNG-ready quality seal from Sentinel Holding Institute (SHI) certifies that SIEGENIA ventilators meet the requirements of Appendix 3.1.3 "Avoiding pollutants in building materials" of the Quality Seal for Sustainable Buildings (Qualitätssiegel Nachhaltige Gebäude – QNG) for new residential buildings and renovated non-residential buildings and thus do not pose an obstacle to funding from KfW banking group.
The Quality Seal for Sustainable Buildings
The German federal Quality Seal for Sustainable Buildings views the building and its environment as a holistic system. It ensures that consideration is given to the conservation of resources, the energy consumption and the health impact of materials and building products, as well as other sustainability criteria, throughout a building's entire life cycle.
SHI product passport: simplified application for state subsidies.
The QNG quality seal is only awarded, and access to state funding granted, if compliance with sustainability criteria can be demonstrated, both in terms of the construction method and the building products used.
The SHI product passport makes it easier to submit building certifications. The digital document summarises all the criteria and standards relevant to the product in one place – SHI product assessment for pollutants, DGNB, QNG, BNB and BREEAM .

As a leading authority on pollutants in products, it tests the quality of building products in terms of their impact on health in accordance with the QNG. The audited SHI database currently provides information on approximately 3,000 emissions-tested building products and their sustainability credentials.
