SIEGENIA recognised as a family-friendly company once again

Wilnsdorf company obtains recertification

SIEGENIA places great importance on the compatibility of family and work. From flexible working hours and part-time training extending to childcare of children of employees in the company's own KITA (daycare centre), the company provides its employees with a wide range of options. The company was recognised for the second time after 2020. Award of the honour took place in the festive setting of Olpe town hall. The certificate was presented by District Administrator, Andreas Müller, to the Head of the Training Dept., Nina Herter, who accepted the honour on behalf of the company.

Extensive certification process

The distinction was preceded by an approximately two-month certification process. This included, amongst other things, an application video from SIEGENIA, in which various employees described their unique personal experiences with the family-friendly measures of the company, events debating the status quo as well as digital site visits from the Women & Work Competence Centre Siegen-Wittgenstein/Olpe.  "We are delighted about the recertification as a family-friendly company. Especially during the last two years of the pandemic, it became evident a that a consistent further development of our family-friendly measures is particularly important", said Hans-Georg Kämpfer, Head of Personnel Management of the SIEGENIA GROUP.
