Intuitive, smooth and easy to assemble
PORTAL PS/K comfort ALU: a clever modular system for the widest range of requirements
SIEGENIA PORTAL PS/PSK comfort for parallel sliding and parallel slide & tilt systems is becoming the allrounder: The hardware for elements made of timber, timber-aluminium and PVC, combining maximum ease of use with easy and safe assembly, is now also available in a version for aluminium systems. Fabricators can choose between the versions PS 200 comfort ALU, PSK 160 comfort ALU and PSK 200-Z comfort ALU, which allow larger and heavier sashes to be achieved than were previously possible.
Even inexperienced users are able to use PORTAL PS/PSK comfort ALU straightaway thanks to its intuitive operation. A high standard of room comfort is also achieved by its high level of smooth running and the quiet pivoting of the sash into or out of the locking position. This makes opening and closing easy, protects the sash and gives it the highest degree of stability and durability. Another definite plus is the new top stay solution with tilting brake, which ensures synchronous pivoting of the sash, as well as the outstandingly effective additional brakes. They cushion the sash while closing and minimise teetering considerably. The fact that the motto of PORTAL PS/PSK comfort ALU is "almost as if by magic" also underlines the smart self-regulation in case of mishandling. The high-performance hardware also shows its strengths in terms of design: Its appealing cover caps give the element a fresh, contemporary look.
Variable and easy to assemble
Fabricators also benefit from the strengths of the new hardware in the fabrication and assembly. Unlike other solutions, PS/PSK comfort ALU can be flexibly adapted to a wide range of budget, comfort and size requirements - from the cost-effective to the premium solution, thanks to its smart modular system. Tilt sashes can also be achieved with the aid of this hardware. It stands for economic production with rational components and cost benefits in warehousing because both PS and PSK elements can be produced with the aid of this solution.
And last but not least, PS/PSK comfort ALU scores with assembly on site. It impresses in this case with the simple attachment and adjustment of the sash. This is made possible by factors including the height and tilt adjustment of the bogie wheels and the optimised running rail in conjunction with the new sash security device. The latter ensures that the sashes only need to be slightly tilted when these are attached and thus can be mounted with little force and effort.
