Moreover, the ALU 5100 offers room comfort when it comes to security and comfort: While the burglar resistance of up to RC2 ensures increased protection against uninvited guests, the optional sash lifter offers permanent ease of use. The range of options of the ALU 5100 is rounded off by an optional sash brake. It is particularly suitable for public buildings such as schools, where rough handling is commonplace. Equipped with damping, it reliably protects the window sash in the end position.

Strengths in fabrication and assembly

Thanks to its sophisticated design and excellent workmanship, the ALU 5100 also impresses in terms of production and assembly. As a clampable, non-directional solution, the new hinge side guarantees significant time and cost benefits. In the basic version suitable for window sashes up to 80 kg and for all conventional aluminium profiles with Rn 10-14 mm of the aluminium eurogroove, it offers a high degree of preassembly, ensuring safe economical production. The production remains lean thanks to the use of only a few components, even when upgrading to a load capacity of up to 100 kg.

The steel clamping pieces for frame and sash, which are compliant with the market requirements in South and South-East Europe, are also fabrication-friendly as they can easily be fitted into the eurogroove and also allow repeated tightening. The integrated side adjustability with the possibility of adjustment of sash without removing it also guarantees easy assembly on site. Maximum flexibility and lean warehousing are ensured by the system dimensions, which are identical to the ALU 5200, and compatibility with the entire ALU range of accessories from SIEGENIA.
